3 Days Uganda Gorilla Habituation Safari in Bwindi

The 3 days gorilla habituation safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park guarantees you an unforgettable experience. Unlike the usual gorilla trek, the 3-day gorilla habituation allows you to spend more time with gorillas – enjoy a long day exploring the daily behaviors of gorillas.

Mountain gorilla habituation is only done in the Southern region of the Bwindi Park– Rushaga sector. At Rushaga, Kutu is thegorilla family set for gorilla habituation and it also has other gorilla groups like Mucunguzi, Bweza, Kahungye, Nshongi, Busingye, Mishaya, etc.

Details of the tour

Day 1: Kampala / Entebbe to Bwindi N/P

You will meet a professional driver guide after having a hefty breakfast and you will set off for Bwindi National Park. Your journey begins early, taking about 8-9 hours’ drive on the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara-Kabale route. You will have an en-route stop visit at the Equator crossing, followed by lunch at the Igongo cultural center and you will proceed to the Rushaga sector to check in at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla habituation in Bwindi Impenetrable national park

The gorilla habituation expedition starts early in the morning, and you will have a long day searching for mountain gorillas. Before you begin your journey into the wild to explore gorillas on a habituation tour, make sure that you have a packed lunch and bottled water to keep you fit.

You will be visiting the Kutu gorilla group, one of the several groups in the Rushaga sector in the Southern area of Bwindi. Once you have had enough time with gorillas, begin returning to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 3: Depart from Rushaga to Kampala.

Rise early and after, you will begin your road trip back to Kampala or Entebbe. This

comes with a stopover at the Equator crossing, and also have some lunch before you will be dropped at the hotel in Kampala/Entebbe.
